We open just outside of the San Diego Sports Arena on Wednesday afternoon, just a few hours before AWG Authenticity hits the air. TC Jagger is seen stepping out of his silver Scion tC with an AWG bag slung over his shoulder. He reaches back into the car and pulls out his Triple Threat Title, which he slings over the other shoulder. Jagger shuts the doors and begins to walk toward the arena. The camera follows Jagger as he thinks out loud while making his way toward the wrestler entrance.
Jagger: Poetic Justice, what a piece of trash. If he thinks he can take my title, hell, if he even thinks that he’ll actually walk out of the arena tonight with a shot at it, then he’s in for a little surprise. He doesn’t realize that the champ has a few tricks up his sleeve.
Just then, Jagger’s phone begins to ring. He stops in his tracks, setting his bag on the parking lot pavement to reach in his pocket. He pulls out the phone and flips it open.
Jagger: Beck! What’s up? How’s the ankle doing?
…
Jagger: Good to hear, another week or two and you should be back in action.
…
Jagger: Nope, still haven’t been able to get a hold of him. I called his office yesterday and they said that he had taken an unannounced vacation, so your guess is as good as mine.
…
Jagger: Yeah, I’ll let you know if I hear anything else.
…
Jagger: Alright man, make sure you’re watching tonight. I’ve got a surprise for Mister Poetry.
…
Jagger: Later.
Jagger flips his phone shut and picks up his bag. He walks into the wrestlers entrance and the camera fades as the door closes behind him.
