I wouldn't exactly say I'm a TNA fan, I think I've seen one episode of impact but from what I hear the actual wrestling is pretty damn good. Turns out Victory Road tix are only $20 for the cheap seats and seeing as the venue is roughly the size of a small convention center, I might go.
Anyone watch TNA or been to a live show feel like chiming in?

I've watched a great deal of Impact. At times, I feel it's far superior to Raw. Seriously. At other times, I feel it has no idea what it's doing and completely lacks direction. Also seriously. So at a PPV, where you know things are supposed to progress, you really never know if they're going to come up with great angles or the ones that make you say, "What?! Why?!?!?" They're amazingly inconsistent. The silver lining there is that when they're on, they are ON.
I've been to a TNA house show. It was the greatest house show I've ever been to. The main event was Angle vs. Christian, and it was the best match I've ever seen live.
I do not, however, know how a PPV would be live. My advice would be to just go, man. It's close to you, right? And for only twenty bucks? Just go. I mean, it'd be nice if you knew some storylines going in, since PPVs are mainly put together with those in mind and it enhances things quite a bit. But, ultimately, it's a PPV from a company that has proven itself to - at the very least - have very solid in-ring wrestling. And the seats are cheap.
So just go.

It was definitely worth it, we bought floor seats off some dude on craigslist for $40 a piece and were about 12 rows back from the ring. The X division matches were incredible. Overall it was a badass show, minus the fact that they didn't have the cameras showing the matches on the screen so when the action spilled out of the ring you couldn't see and also nobody seemed to klnow what was going on during the main event.
Funny enough, seeing as we were so close to the ring and the seats around me and my bro were empty when he came out, I was in perfect position for Samoa Joe to spot me flipping him off from the ring and promptly mouth something to the effect of "you jerk"

Awesome, Sage. Reading the results, it sounded like a pretty good show. I'd say the main event went much better than I'd have anticipated. I figured Joe was winning clean, which I wasn't looking forward to, so the way they went was kind of awesome. I bet it was even better to actually see.

The match was pretty good, but like I said from the crowd it was hard to tell exactly what had happened because there was never any bell to end the match or official announcement. Te highlight of the night had to be the 6-man tag full metal match followed closely by the world x cup elimination match. the ultimate x was cool to see live, but it didn't go as long as I had hoped and only had one huge spot, even if it was the sickest thing I had ever seen.
For those of you that missed it, Divari was hanging from the ropes suspended over the ring and Kaz jumped off the rigging holding the ropes up landing a leg drop that sent them both crashing to the mat.
BTW... Curry Man is one of the most entertaining gimmicks ever.

They remind me of the old school ECW, production-wise they can't touch WWE. but the matches feature a lot of innovative and high-risk spots. It's just a completely different style of wretling that focuses more on speed and high flying than power moves.
Overall though I'd have to say I'm gonna start DVRing Impact
