*Jack Gaither and Samantha are walking down a hallway inside the ALLTEL Arena when they find where they're supposed to be at.*
Sam: I guess this is it.
Jack: You're right Sam, it is.
*Jack knocks on a door, and a voice tells him to step inside the office.*
Jack: Hey man! How are you doin' tonight?
Unknown Voice: Quite well, my friend. Let's get down to business, shall we?
*Sam closes the office door; a lone camera focuses on the door, which has an AWG logo taped on it, but the logo accidentally falls off the door and onto the floor, revealing another name: the name of "DOLLAR MCDOUGAL"! The fans buzz when they see this occur on the big screen.*
Jari: What on Earth!?! Jack Gaither and his girlfriend in Dollar McDougal's office!?!
Norman: This has got to be a mistake!
Tommy: I don't know what's going on to be honest with you?
Jari: I think we might have a prophecy on our hands here! A prophecy that looks bad for all of us.
Norman: I don't know about that Jarhead, and I don't know anything about prophecies or rumors; I just report the facts.
Tommy: Folks, we'll keep you informed about this situation as it continues to unfold. There's plenty of action to come tonight!

Sotmin’ Norman: We’ve got all of the second round action for the World Title Tournament, as well as a battle royal to determine a competitor for the Triple Threat Title at Exodus.
Tommy Veot: Let’s not waist any time, the Battle Royal is set to begin, Right Now!

Alexander Cain: The following match is a battle royal, where the winner will receive a Triple Threat title shot at Exodus.
(Dream On by Aerosmith)
-John Mercer appears on stage. He slowly makes his way to the ring as the lights follow him.
Norman: Mercer has had an illustrious career and is looking to get one last taste of the gold.
Jaromir: Look Norm, Mercer is old and it really showed in his match against our world champion.
Tommy: I thought he had a good showing against Sage.
Jaromir: Well, that just shows how much you know about wrestling.
(Burn In Hell by Twisted Sister)
-Walter A. Stewart appears on stage. He makes his way down to the ring, obviously furious. He yells at a fan near ringside before sliding into the ring.
Norman: Now this is an interesting addition to this battle royal. The mere showing of Walter in this match shows that the championship committee no longer see’s him as the Triple Threat champion.
Tommy: But who is the champ? It can’t be two people at the same time, can it?
(Survival Of The Sickest by Saliva)
-After a few moments Johnny Knuckles comes walking out and stares at the crowd for a quick second and grins. He makes his way down and climbs into the ring. He takes off his silk shirt, glasses, italian style hat and gold chain. He stands in the corner rubbing his hands together ready to fight.
Norman: After a tough loss to TC Jagger last week, Knuckles has got to be ready to get his name back in the title picture.
(Paradise City by Guns and Roses)
-Adam Apocalypse appears on stage with an entourage of female escorts. He leaves them behind and continues down to the ring.
Tommy: Adam has been real impressive in AWG thus far. A win in his debut over in Iraq and then a close first round match against Anthony Phoenix.
(One Vision by Queen)
-Gaither makes his way out of the curtains at the top as One Vision by Queen begins. He poses and waves to fans as he begins down the ramp. Suddenly, from behind him, Knuckles comes sprinting. He levels Gaither in the back of the head. After delivering several more punches, he rolls Gaither into the ring and the bell rings to start the match.
Norman: We are just about to start and already Gaither has taken some shots.
Tommy: He’s a resilient fighter. He’ll get back in the game.
-After the bell rings Mercer and Walter go right after Adam. They corner him into a turnbuckle and take turns punching him and working the body with other methods.
Norman: Apocalypse leaning what battle royals are all about.
-The two men then suplex Adam into the middle of the ring. After which they nod at each other confirming the continuing of the tag team abuse. Meanwhile, Knuckles has continued to work on Gaither. He picks him up and drives Gaither down with a piledriver.
Jaromir: The Bald Eagle still not able to recover from the early assault.
Tommy: Give him time.
-Mercer and Walter both move back as Adam prepares to pull himself up by the ropes. They nod at each other and run towards him looking for the double clothesline. Adam then drops the bridge and sends both men flying over the top rope. Adam then stands with a smile and glances at his hard work.
Norman: The rightful champ Walter Stewart as well as John Mercer have been eliminated!
Tommy: Wow, Apocalypse pulled that out of nowhere.
-Knuckles grabs Gaither up from after the piledriver and goes to toss Gaither over the top rope. Gaither just barely hangs on to the middle rope as he tumbles towards the outside. As he begins to help himself back up, Knuckles goes for the kill, but is attacked by Adam from behind.
Tommy: Apocalypse may not know it, but he just saved Gaither from elimination.
-Gaither pulls himself back in and rests against the mat. Meanwhile, Adam goes at it with Knuckles. They exchange rights and left and eventually Adam takes the upper hand. He stuns Knuckles and then leaps up and hits him with an enziguri. Knuckles falls hard to the mat, but is quick to make a move to get up. Adam doesn’t give him much space and goes to make his move as Knuckles stands up. Knuckles then shoots a low blow and send Adam crumbled up to the ground.
Norman: Blatant low blow there from Knuckles.
Jaromir: yeah but you can’t disqualify someone in a battle royal. He’s got to go over the top rope.
Tommy: Wait just a minute folks, what do we have here!
-Walking down the ramp are Lee Varitek and TC Jagger. Both men have sly looks on their faces. Jagger leans in and says something to Varitek right before they make it to ringside.
Tommy: What are they doing here?
-Knuckles moves in to pick up Adam, but just as Adam had done for him Gaither moves in a makes a save. Gaither grabs Knuckles from behind and hits a reverse suplex. Gaither then gets up quick to his feet and calls for the Samba Slam.
Tommy: I told you he just has to get going.
Jaromir: Lot of match left.
-Knuckles just about gets back to his feet. He grabs a hold of him and gets him up in the air. Knuckles flails to get loose as Gaither gets ready to slam him.
Norman; This could be it for Knuckles.
-Knuckles just slips the hold and falls behind Gaither. he locks his arms around Gaither’s waist and gives him a release German Suplex. Gaither lands on his feet and stumbles back to the ropes, only to fall down to ringside as Lee Varitek grabs the ropes and pulls them down.
Jaromir: Gaither Eliminated. And as always Veot is wrong.
Tommy: Shut up Jarhead! Varitek caused that, Gaither should rightfully still be in the match!
-Knuckles looks out at what‘s happened. As he does Adam begins to sneak up on him. He sprints and goes for a clothesline just as Knuckles turns around. Knuckles hangs on to the top rope for dear life as Adam uses all of his might to force him out. Jagger and Varitek smile as they continue to look on.
Tommy: We may have a number one contender right here.
-Knuckles falls to the apron and manages to roll back into the ring. An astounding sigh of both relief and disappointment comes from the fans. Adam kicks Knuckles a few times before forcing him back to his feet. Once there he hits a side suplex and lays out Knuckles. After a second of gloating Adam turns to find Knuckles making it back to his feet. He walks over to continue the assault, but Knuckles runs a thumb to the eye.
Norman: More dirty tactics by the hardcore fighter.
-As Adam covers his eyes in pain, Knuckles grabs him and whips him into the ropes. He comes back into a devastating clothesline. Knuckles awes at his move and then picks Adam up for the elimination. He has him up on his shoulders and goes for the tope rope. He throws him over it, but just as he had done himself, Adam holds onto the top rope for dear life. However, Adam manages to get down to the apron. As he does Knuckles looks over the top rope to see if he can find a way to eliminate him from there and TC Jagger makes his move. He jumps up, grabbing Knuckles by the head and pulls him out.
Tommy: TC Jagger just eliminated Knuckles and Adam Apocalypse is now the number one contender for the title, which we can’t seem to figure out the champion to.
-Jagger then picks up Knuckles and tosses him into the ring steps. Adam, meanwhile, celebrates his first title shot in the ring as his music plays.
We go to commercial.

We return backstage with Jason Carter-Wales.
JCW: Folks, I am backstage with the man who just helped eliminate two men from the Battle Royal, TC Jagger.
The Camera zooms out to reveal TC Jagger standing with his arms crossed towering over Jason Carter-Wales.
JCW: Jagger, just curious, why did you interfere with the Battle Royal when you are still in the hunt for the AWG World Title.
Jagger: Well Jason, it’s quite simple. As it stands, I am AT LEAST one half owner of the Triple Threat Title, so therefore I am still keeping my eye on the competition. Sorting out the good from the…not-so-good.
JCW: So you are picking who gets Triple Threat Title shots now? That seems a bit unfair.
Jagger: Well, If he’s going to badmouth me after I beat his ass last week., he’s going to suffer the consequences. I single handedly ended Johnny’s chances at the AWG World Title, I figured, why stop there?
JCW: Well, you…
Jagger: Excuse me, I have another ass to go beat down.
Jagger walks off.
JCW: Well, back to you guys.

Tommy Veot: Well, I guess we’ll see if Jagger can back up his words right now.
Alexander Cain: The following second round match is scheduled for one fall…
The lights dim as 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park plays and green & blue lasers shoot across the arena. From the back comes "The Rock Star" Adrian Young, being welcomed by jeers from the audience. As he stands at the top of the ramp, he shoots his arm straight up and the lights start to flicker. He makes his way down to the ring and talks smack to the crowd as he passes by. He walks up the steps and steps into the ring with his arms straight out to his side as he parades around the ring. His music cuts off and the lights return as he awaits his opponent.
Jari Pulaski: And here comes the man who will knock Jagger out of the tournament.
Tommy Veot: That’s a very bold prediction.
Jari Pulaski: Am I ever wrong?
Tommy Veot: Well…
Jari Pulaski: Don’t answer that.
As the music starts, a shower of blue sparks starts to rain onto the stage blocking everything behind them. The sparks stop and Jagger is standing there with his arms crossed over his chest. Jagger uncrosses his arms and points to himself with both hands as he begins to walk down the ramp. Jagger rolls under the bottom rope and stands in the middle of the ring. Blue pyros shoot straight up from each of the turnbuckles as Jagger crosses his arms and then points to himself again
Tommy Veot: Well folks, Jagger had one hellacious match against Johnny Knuckles last week, and I’m sure we’re in for the same thing here tonight.
Stormin’ Norman: Well we’re about to see two former World Champions go toe to toe, so it’s bound to be a great performance.
Referee Manny Herrera calls for the bell.
*Ding Ding*
Jagger and Adrian stare each other down. The two stand toe to toe yet neither of them move.
Stormin’ Norman: things starting off with a stare-down.
After a moment, Adrian pulls back to strike but Jagger blocks and throws a closed fist of his own. Another right hand and Adrian falls to the mat.
Tommy Veot: Jagger with the first strike.
Jagger pulls Adrian to his feet and sends him flying in to the corner. Jagger follows up with a clothesline but Adrian throws his elbow up, knocking Jagger back.
Stormin’ Norman: Adrian with a momentum shift.
Adrian quickly climbs the turnbuckle and crouches at the top rope. Adrian jumps, attempting a missile dropkick, but Jagger sees this and ducks out of the way, sending Adrian to the mat hard.
Tommy Veot: Ouch! Adrian landed awkwardly on his leg there.
Stormin’ Norman: And it looks like he’s favoring the leg right now.
Jagger stands up and walks toward Adrian who is pulling himself up by the ropes. Jagger seizes the opportunity and delivers a massive reverse DDT to Adrian. He then drags the nearly unconscious Adrian to his feet.
Tommy Veot: That blow to the leg set Adrian up for a fall. Now it might be too late.
Jagger locks in a full nelson, tightening it for a moment before slamming Adrian to the mat.
Stormin’ Norman: Jagginator!!!
Jagger covers and Manny Herrera makes the count.
One…
Two…
Three!
*Ding Ding*
Tommy Veot: Jagger did it, he’ll be facing either the World Champion or Anthony Phoenix in the semi-finals next week!
Jari Pulaski: Eh, he won’t make it past that round.
Tommy Veot: Another bold prediction.
Stormin’ Norman: We’ll be right back!

We return to ringside with Tommy Veot.
Tommy Veot: Well folks, we’ve already seen Adam Apocalypse advance to the Triple Threat title match with his Battle Royal win, and TC Jagger just advanced to the semi-finals of the World Title Tournament. Let’s see what we’ve got in store for you next.
“Death March” by Black Label Society plays. The arena begins to fog up. Blue lights give the fog an eerie look. Travis Beckham steps out onto the stage with a towel draped over his shoulders. He stands on the stage, staring at the ring for a few moments before beginning to walk down the ramp. Beck climbs into the ring and walks to the corner as he awaits his opponent.
Tommy Veot: This is really going to be Travis Beckham’s first match of the tournament.
Stormin’ Norman: That’s right. Last week, somebody bought out Preston Romeo’s contract, sending him home from the tournament.
Jari Pulaski: Hey, if the price was right, why the hell not.
Arena goes pitch black when "Through Fire and Flames by Dragonforce begins to play. A big explosion of fire pyros go off and out walks Rob DiPietro. As he is walking down the ramp pillars of fire sprout up. He slides into the ring as the light turn back on.
Stormin’ Norman: DiPietro is another person who’s first tournament match will be tonight.
Tommy Veot: However, unlike Beckham, DiPietro worked to earn it. He defeated Adrian Young at Eternal Glory in order to obtain the #1 seed and secure the first round bye.
Referee Donnie Duncan checks both men’s pads and calls for the bell.
*Ding Ding*
The two men begin to circle the ring.
Tommy Veot: Would you look at the size difference between these two men. Beckham towers over DiPietro.
Stormin’ Norman: Rob’s going to need to rely on his speed and agility if he wants to take Beckham down.
Tommy Veot: Well, DiPietro’s defeated his fare share of larger wrestlers. I’m sure this will be just like any ordinary match for him.
Beckham charges but DiPietro ducks out of the way, delivering a kick to the back of the knee as Beckham continues past. Beckham falls to one knee and DiPietro continues to deliver martial arts kicks to the back of Beckham.
Stormin’ Norman: Rob using his speed right here with those kicks to the back.
Beckham gets back to his feet and shoves DiPietro who goes flying to the other end of the ring. DiPietro pops back up and the two look to square off again.
Tommy Veot: Back to square one.
Beckham charges again, this time DiPietro is unable to dodge the attack. Beckham drives DiPietro back into the turnbuckle and gives him several driving shoulders.
Stormin’ Norman: Beckham with some heavy blows right there.
Beckham pulls DiPietro out of the corner only to send him quickly to the mat with a short arm clothesline.
Jari Pulaski: I think I felt that one.
Beckham walks around the ring amidst the jeers from the crowd before heading back to the fallen DiPietro. He lifts DiPietro onto his shoulders and turns toward the center of the ring. Beckham begins the charge for a running powerslam, but at the last second, DiPietro gets loose, pushing Beckham shoulder first into the turnbuckle.
Tommy Veot: Ouch, Beckham hits his shoulder hard!
Beckham pulls himself out of the corner, holding his shoulder. DiPietro is ready when Beckham stands up and begins to deliver more kicks to the legs. Beckham drops to a knee again and DiPietro delivers a few kicks to the same arm that Beckham just slammed into the turnbuckle.
Stormin’ Norman: DiPietro attacking Beckham’s weak points.
DiPietro runs past Beckham and bounces off the ropes. He returns and delivers a bulldog, instantly popping up to receive an abundance of cheers from the crowd.
Tommy Veot: DiPietro with a huge pop from the crowd.
DiPietro signals for the Final Cut. Beckham staggers to his feet and DiPietro goes for a kick to the gut. Beckham telegraphs it and catches DiPietro’s leg, delivering a huge clothesline afterward.
Stormin’ Norman: Beckham wasn’t having any of that.
Beckham pulls himself to his feet. He grabs DiPietro and pulls him toward the center of the ring. Beckham signals for the stalling brainbuster.
Tommy Veot: Oh no, Beckham’s calling for the Death Sentence.
Beckham lifts DiPietro up vertically. He holds DiPietro in place for a moment, showing off his strength to the arena. He begins to bring DiPietro down, but DiPietro is able to get loose, countering it by tossing Beckham into the ropes. Beckham returns and is met with a kick to the gut.
Tommy Veot: FINAL CUT!!!
DiPietro connects with the stunner and makes the cover. Donnie Duncan makes the count.

2...
3!!!
*Ding Ding*
Tommy Veot: Rob did it! He took down the big man!
Stormin’ Norman: Now let’s see if he can carry this momentum over to next week where he will face either Max power of Pierce Cavanaugh.
Tommy Veot: We’ll be right back folks, don’t go anywhere!

We return to an outside view of the ALLTEL arena. The AWG logo is displayed outside of the arena. We cut back inside to the commentating team.
Tommy Veot: Well folks, we’re just past the halfway point of tonight’s Authenticity and we’re glad you’re here with us.
Jari Pulaski: Oh stop kissing the fans’ asses will ya?
Stormin’ Norman: Well while these two are bickering, let’s go to the ring where Alexander Cain is about to announce the next participants.
Alexander Cain: This is a second round match, scheduled for one fall…
"My Way" by Frank Sinatra begins to play as Max Power walks out in a black and white tux with the bow tie untied. Max struts his stuff as he walks down the ramp, taunting the crowd on the way. Max rolls into the ring as he counties to taunt the crowd. Max takes off his sport coat and dress shirt as the music fades and he awaits his opponent.
Jari Pulaski: Max had quite the showing last week. He’s definitely my pick to win it all.
As “Prayer of the Refugee” by Rise Against hits, the lights turn out. All that remains are two blue spotlights searching the stage. Finally, they come together in the middle of the stage and focus on Pierce. He has on his wrestling tights and a warm up tee, like the one that you could buy in the shop. Pierce can’t seem stand still. He jumps up and down, throws punches and heel kicks at the empty space that is before him. He begins to jog down to the ring leaving the spotlight behind him. After jogging about half way down the ramp, his pyrotechnics go off, jets along the ramp. This signals the lights to change from nothing to a flashing blue strobe light. He gets to the ring and hops up onto the apron and then does a flip using the top rope into the ring. He’s full of energy and he stands in the ring punching, jumping and kicking while waiting for his opponent.
Tommy Veot: Well Jarhead, if you’re picking Max Power, I’m picking Cavanaugh. Never have I seen a man with such heart and determination. This guy has been holding titles for almost his entire career, I don’t see why the AWG World Title wouldn’t be next on his list.
Referee Manny Herrera checks both man for weapons and then calls for the bell.
*Ding Ding*
Cavanaugh and Power circle. Cavanaugh offers his hand for a test of strength. Power looks skeptical but eventually agrees. The lock one hand and Cavanaugh slowly begins to bring his other hand close. As soon as both hands are locked Cavanaugh kicks Power in the gut.
Jari Pulaski: Who didn’t see that coming?
Cavanaugh delivers a European uppercut, sending Power back into the ropes. When he returns, Cavanaugh grabs him and delivers a suplex. Cavanaugh goes for the quick cover. Herrera makes the count.
One…
Kickout!
Tommy Veot: Not even close.
Cavanaugh pulls Power up but Power delivers a blow to the gut. After another, Power gains control and tosses Cavanaugh into the corner. Power follows and delivers a few knees to the gut of Cavanaugh.
Tommy Veot: Power working the midsection.
Power pulls Cavanaugh out and sends him to the mat with a headlock takeover. Power bounces off the ropes and returns with an elbow drop. Power covers as Herrera makes the count.
One…
Two…
Kickout!
Stormin’ Norman: Cavanaugh isn’t going down that easily.
Power picks Cavanaugh up and delivers a sidewalk slam. He follows up with a leg drop and hooks the leg of Cavanaugh. Herrera goes for the count again.
One…
Two…
Kickout!
Stormin’ Norman: I’ve never seen Cavanaugh go down without a fight. Power needs to step it up if he plans on getting the three count.
Power stands up and signals for Powered To The Max. Cavanaugh slowly gets to his feet. Power grabs Cavanaugh and begins set him up for the muscle buster. Cavanaugh slips behind Power and delivers a reverse DDT, sending both men down to the mat.
Tommy Veot: Great reversal by Cavanaugh.
Manny Herrera begins the ten count with both men on the mat.
One…
Two…
Three…
Four…
Five…
Cavanaugh pulls himself to his feet. He grabs Power and pulls him to his feet as well. Cavanaugh whips Power into the ropes and goes for a big kick, but Power grabs on to the ropes and slides out of the ring.
Jari Pulaski: Heads up move, getting out of there to catch his breath.
Cavanaugh quickly goes to follow but Manny Herrera holds him back, telling him to stay in the ring. In the meantime, Power reaches under the ring and grabs a chair. He slides the weapon into the ring and then follows in after. Herrera turns around and sees the chair.
Tommy Veot: Power can’t possibly think that he was going to get away with that.
Herrera grabs the chair and goes to hand it to a member of ringside help. Cavanaugh throws a right at Power who instantly drops and delivers a low blow.
Tommy Veot: I guess that answers the question.
Power quickly hooks the leg and covers. He begins to shout to Herrera who is still at the ropes. Herrera quickly comes over to make the count.
One…
Two…
Kickout!!!
Stormin’ Norman: Cavanaugh kicked out!
Power sits up in shock. He begins to yell at Herrera to make a quicker count. Power stands up and reaches down to grab Cavanaugh. Cavanaugh snags Power’s hand and pulls him down, locking in a triangle choke.
Tommy Veot: The Invalidation! Power wasn’t paying attention!
Power struggles to free himself, but can’t get loose. He rips at Cavanaugh’s legs but eventually gives in. Power taps and Herrera calls for the bell.
*Ding Ding*
Stormin’ Norman: Well, Cavanaugh proves that he is a force to be reckoned with, and now he goes on to face Rob DiPietro in the semi-finals next week.
Tommy Veot: We’ve still got the World Champ in action coming your way folks, don’t go anywhere!

We return to the arena with a shot of the audience.
(Personal Jesus by Marilyn Manson)
Alexander Cain: The following match is a second round AWG World Title Tournament match-up. Entering first, from Austin, Texas, weighing in at 212lbs. He is your AWG Hardcore Champion, The “Extreme Saint”...Anthony Phoenix!
-The arena lights go a bluish hue as "Personal Jesus" by Marilyn Manson begins to play. As the theme continues Phoenix walks out in black hooded waistcoat with silver lining and his blue and black wrestling shorts shining in the bluish hue with his title shining around his waist. Anthony stands with his head down as he holds his hands in a prayer like pose with his index and middle fingers held up like a gun and the rest laced together. The lights in the arena change as the song starts in earnest with flashing reds, oranges, and yellows making the arena look like it’s on fire as Phoenix holds his arms out in an arrogant pose…fireballs emit from the stage. He walks in time to the music as he makes his way to the ring. Anthony stops at the bottom of the ramp and looks up; he raises his arms again as if he’s giving homage to some unknown god. He then enters the ring and heads for the right turnbuckle nearest the announce table and holds his arms out in the same arrogant pose as at the entrance ramp. When he does so a shower of golden pyro is emitted from the ceiling making it look like it’s raining down on him. He jumps down from the turnbuckle and stands in the middle of the ring holding his hands together in a prayer like pose with his index and middle fingers held up like a gun and the rest laced together holding his head down as the song ends.
Tommy: The Extreme Saint has been tremendously impressive over the last couple of months and he's continued that success in this tournament.
Norman: Yes, and I believe that it all stems off that amazing move that he hit in the cage match against his new ally, Max Power.
Tommy: Sometimes all it takes is that one big win to get you going.
Jaromir: True, but he's going to need more than momentum to beat the champ here tonight.
(Sorry You're Not a Winner by Enter Shikari)
Alexander Cain: And his opponent, weighing in at 238lbs. He is your AWG World champion, The “Anti-Hero”... Sage Christensen!!!
-The lights in the arena dim and a lone green spotlight shines down right in front of the entrance way. "Sorry, you're not a winner" by enter Shikari begins to blast over the P.A. as the words "prepare to be enlightened" flash on the screen. A short moment later Sage Christensen steps out from behind the curtain with a black towel draped over his head. He quickly and methodically makes his way to the ring with the spotlight following him the whole time. After climbing through the ropes, he tosses the towel to the outside before climbing a turnbuckle and putting his arms up to a massive pop from the fans.
Tommy: And boy does the champ look focused here tonight.
Jaromir: Well, he better be. This is going to be one of the toughest matches he’ll have and there’s a lot at stake.
Norman: That’s right. If Phoenix manages to beat the champion here tonight, he will be part of the main event at the next Pay-Per-View, where he will get a shot at the champ again.
Tommy: Lot of pressure on Sage right here.
-Referee Abe Sanders call for the bell and the match is underway. The two men of near equal size circle the ring. Just as they are about to lock up Sage jumps and lands a drop kick to the chest of Phoenix. Phoenix falls to the mat, but is quick to attack from there. He attempts to sweep the feet. However Sage leaps over the attempted sweep and lands on the other side of Phoenix. Phoenix stands up with his back to Sage and turns around just in time to catch Sage’s foot right before he delivers a superkick. He holds on to the foot and hits him with a hellacious clothesline.
Norman: Wow, both men really proving they’ve done their homework.
Tommy: Their both champions Norm, I’d expect nothing less from AWG champions.
-As Sage lays on the mat, Phoenix takes his place at the side of him. He makes a standing leap for a moonsault, but Sage rolls out of the way leaving Phoenix falling to the empty mat. Phoenix slowly makes his way back to his feet at the same time as Sage does. Both men stare down each other with mutual respect. Each sends a respect filled head nod at the other.
Tommy: What a match we’re seeing here.
Jaromir: It’s only just begun Tommy. It’s only just begun.
-With the time for civil respect over, Sage and Phoenix approach one another. Again, Sage takes the advantage, this time with a series of punches. After taking a few, Phoenix fires back a series of his own. After stunning Sage with one he bounces off the ropes and goes for a clothesline. Sage ducks it, sending Phoenix into the opposite ropes. When he comes back, Sage drops his head and sends Phoenix flying out of the ring, over the top rope with a devastating back body drop. Phoenix hits hard against the barricade. A “Holy Sh*t” chant ensues.
Tommy: I don’t believe Phoenix is getting up any time soon.
Norman: What strength showed by the World champ right there.

-With no signs of Phoenix moving Sage hops over the top rope and out of the ring.
Jaromir: What is Sage doing? He had the win.
Norman: It’s all about honor in this match. He doesn’t want the easy way out.
-Sage pulls the now stirring Phoenix back to his feet. He drops him back to the mat with a short-arm clothesline. Abe Sanders starts his new count.

-Sage again helps Phoenix to his feet and locks him head in a twist of fate position. But in a last ditch effort Phoenix breaks the hold and hits a sit-out jawbreaker. Sage falls back stunned, but not yet out.

-Sage makes it back to his feet only to have Phoenix run at him and lay him out with a side effect.
Tommy: Phoenix has “Raised the Dead”, but now the question is can he himself get back to his feet.
Norman: Or can Sage?

-Sage begins to rustle. He rolls over to the side of the ring and begins to help himself up by the apron. Phoenix meanwhile is still trying to find his bearings after his comeback attempt.

-Sage stops the count by rolling into the ring. Unwilling to stop the battle, he rolls right back out. He pulls Phoenix back to his feet. He hits him with a stiff right, which props him up against the announcing table.

-He hits him with one more making sure that Phoenix will stay put. Sage backs up, but is then surprised by a hurricarana sending him flying onto the announcing table. Phoenix delivers a set of punches to the downed Sage who lays across the table.
Tommy: This action is getting a little to close for me.

-Phoenix wobbles towards the ring where he rolls back in under the bottom rope. Abe Sanders stops the count as Phoenix takes a moment to gather himself while lying across the mat. He reaches his feet once again and begins to eye the corner.
Tommy: I don’t like that look in his eye.
Norman: We’ve only seen that lock once before.
Tommy: I’m getting out of here.
-Tommy bolts to a different spot ringside, abandoning the table. Norman and Jaromir are soon to follow. Phoenix makes his way over to the turnbuckle he was looking towards. His unsure legs climb it and he stands atop. Abe Sanders tries to coax him down, but Phoenix is having none of it. He leaps off and lands a 5 star frog splash onto the announcing table, breaking through it.
Tommy: Good Lord!!!
Jaromir: This is what AWG is all about. People putting their well-being on the line for a shot at greatness.
Norman: And certainly any time Phoenix takes flight he is doing just that; risking the well-being of himself as well as others.
-Abe Sanders looks to the outside to make sure that both men are still breathing. After double checking, he begins to make the necessary count out.

Jaromir: Come on, somebody’s got to make it up. This match has to continue.

-Phoenix crawls over to the side of the ring and grabs the apron. Sage meanwhile also makes it off the table as he glances towards the ring.

Jaromir: He’s got to make it. He’s got to!
-Phoenix makes it back into ring just in time for the count to end. Sage then crawls his way back to the ring, where he grabs the apron and helps himself back into the ring just as Phoenix had. Both men lay lifeless on the mat next to each other. In an effort to end the match, Phoenix rolls over on top of Sage. Abe Sanders makes the count.

-Sage just throws a shoulder up in time. Phoenix shakes his head, both in disappointment and to shake some cobwebs out. He reaches his feet and pulls Sage up by the hair. He grabs him by the head and hits a suplex. He then rolls it over and goes for the a second, but is too winded to complete it. Both men fall back to the mat.
Tommy: These men can’t take anymore.
Jaromir: But they will if they want to win this one.
-As both men lay winded, they look for a way back to their feet. Each rolls over in sync and begins to make his attempt at getting back to his feet. Both struggle as they get up.
Norman: Both men somehow getting back to their feet.
*Sage Ending*
-Phoenix makes it back to his feet first. He delivers a kick to the gut and then goes for the stunner, but Sage pushes him off. When Phoenix turns around Sage hits the superkick right to Phoenix’s face.
Tommy: Infinite Wisdom! Infinite Wisdom! And I don’t believe that Phoenix will have enough to kick out of this.
-Sage falls down on top of Phoenix and Abe Sanders makes the count.
