Question for everybody...

I was just reading some other forums and the question of why you chose the theme music for your character came up and I began to wonder.

So why did you chose your theme music?

I just like the song Wake Up by Three Days Grace.

Well, me and my bro have always liked wrestling music, Forceable Entry and stuff like that. So any time we heard a song that sounded like it could be entrance music, we showed each other.

Now being the complete wrestling nerd that I am, I have ALWAYS had a song that I would call "my" entrance theme. For the longest time it was "The God That Failed" by Metallica. But after getting into Breaking Benjamin, I got ahold of their first CD and I just thought that "Water" was the most bad ass theme that I could ever have. (and I still do)

OH! and on somewhat of another topic...

Disturbed's new CD, "Indestructible" comes out in May. Since I am the biggest Disturbed fan ever, (not really, but they're my favorite band) Don't be surprised if TC Jagger has a new Disturbed song as his Entrance Theme in May.

Well Rob has had many theme from many points of his career. But the reason I picked Through Fire and Flames by Dragonforce is simple. Anyone who has heard the song knows it's fast pace, heavy metal song (Pain in the ass on Guitar Hero). But I think Rob believe after everything he has been though he has walked through the fire and flames of hell and still has a wonderful life. He has a wife and a kid on the way. Plus I really enjoy the song.

That song is one of only 4 songs that I can't beat in the entire Guitar Hero series. I've gotten 2% on Expert, but I absolutely love the song. I useually put it on practice mode and play it the whole way through.

Yeah they have videos on You Tube with ppl beating it on expert. It's crazy cuz I can't even beat it on medium. I hope they bring it to Rock Band so I see what the drums are like.

Alright, I guess it's my turn.

I picked "Becoming The Bull" by Atreyu for a simple reason really. Back in my GWA/ACW days I was always told that I was a very talented writer and that I could be one of the main contenders, however I didn't fully use that talent. Putting it plain and simple, I was lazy and usually waited until the last minute to post rps (lol which I still do to this day) and I often no-showed.

Also, as many people don't know...I backed down from challenges that were set in front of me. As a couple of examples (haha don't be too shocked here fellas) back in GWA when Cap'n Carnage and I were both young upstarts in our careers, the two of us were supposed to have a match for the dot.Com Championship. Now I'm not sure if I rp'd for that match or not, but I do remember that we were always supposed to have a re-match and every time it was booked, I no-showed...making Carnage more and more aggitated with me, I'm sure. The fact is that I didn't think I could beat Carnage, so I figured no-showing was a better option then losing straight up. Haha fucked up, right?

As for my second example. Back in ACW it was my first ever MEANINGFUL World title shot and it was supposed to be Diggs vs. Dollar vs. Baller for the ACW Championship. While I did post 1 rp for the match, I saw the work that both Dollar and Baller put out and immediately thought to myself that I couldn't beat these guys. So I made up some phony excuse and didn't rp.

So like I was saying, I've always underachieved and when AWG opened I figured it was a new era for Diggs. Thus I chose "Becoming The Bull" as my theme song because as the song suggests;

instead of grabbing the bull by the horns, I will do one better and become the bull.

I choose "Prayer of the Refugee" because for one, like Tim said, me and him always had a song we'd call our entrance theme. Secondly, the reason this one was the one I choose was because of the opening rift. If you guys don't know the song, check it out and see what I'm talking about. It's nice!

I don't have a real good reason for picking my entrance music. I don't really listen to the words of all the songs I listen to. Some songs I just like the music to.

I guess, I pick my songs based on the title. Since most people never really ever get to hear the music that we select, I pick a song that just sounds menacing such as "Bussyoheadopen" by Twiztid, "Bid Farewell" by Five Bolt Main, or "Harvester of Sorrow" by Metallica.

But they're all good songs that I listen to nearly every day.

Well, the way it works for me is simple. It started in TCW with "Black" by Sevendust because theyre my fav band and listening to the words, it seemed to fit my character. "I aint doin' nuttn' wrong" something an italian would say lol.

Currently my character has shown massive character development which im still trying to bring here and show you guys. Because of that, i choose "Survival of the Sickest." to depict Knuckles mindset and how he feels about the world. Kind of llike ECW Tazz with the whole "damn the world". His life has been nothing but struggle since he could remember and he stives to survive in a world that forces him to be a sick SOB. He is really good hearted but does what's necessary to survive by any means necessary against a world that forced him to live in poverty and solitude. Thats what happens you become the product of your environment.

I chose Queen's "One Vision" simply because I have one thing in mind: WINNING GOLD BABY!! ;D
