Anyone see it? Thoughts? It's not a movie for everyone but I enjoyed it.

I have not yet seen the movie. However, one of my good friends at school is the local movie critic. (does reviews for the newspaper/his own website/etc.) He and I almost always feel the same way about movies and he told me that it was a very good movie, but I guess the camera made him sick. Sucks that such a cool idea couldn't be executed better.
So, once I get over this cold that I have and I can risk getting a little woozy from watching a "handheld" camera for an hour and a half, I think I'm gonna go see it.

Yeah they had a disclaimer at the ticket counter about the film could give you motion sickness. I wasn't affected.

Yeah, I don't think it will affect me either, but I don't particularly want an even bigger headache right now, so I'm gonna wait. But I'll still see it, it definitely looks like my kind of movie.

As I said before it's not a movie for everyone, it was a movie for me and Jagger seems to think it's for him as well. But as I said not everyone will like the way the movie if filmed. I liked it cuz I felt I was there and well all I will say is "flaming homless man". If you see the movie you will know what I mean.

He said FlamING homeless man, not Flamer Homo Man. Don't get so excited Jag.
Oh wait, this isn't the flame war thread. Oh well, I'll leave it right here.

Mercer just contributed OOC. I'm freaking jacked.
And I couldn't tell if he was pro or anti-Cloverfield, but if he was pro, then I'm gonna watch it just because of his post. Seriously. I do things like that. I think it's called bribery.
